Tether, like its fraternal twin, Bare Husk, employs pigmented plaster on painted canvas, scorched to reveal its wooden support. The burn acts as incision–an architectural disclosure of hidden framework. Material presses against and unsettles the frame, testing its limits. As in his underground cultural networks, connection here is tensile, structural, and resistant to enclosure.
